They are very difficult to bow. I have found if you put rosin on both the string and the bow you can get a somewhat usable sound out of them, fine for a long tone at the end of a ballad or for intonation practice but you definitely couldn't get by a classical gig on these. I've been messing with my pickup and I think it's just that I may have screwed up it's position while changing strings. Moved my pickup to the E side and added an extra shim and now they amplify fantastically. Would have saved me a lot of headaches on the gig, whoopsie.

Yes the E&A on the Gollihur site are 22's, the same ones as on the aquila site.
