    Unmatched external cab's

    Hello, first thread post here.. been reading for years. I have retrofit 2 Peavey 115 cabs to fit a BW 15o2-4 speakers, and plug into the external cab jack on back of a Combo 300 to get 300 watts at 2ohm's otherwise, its @ 4ohm's and 210w. My question is can I plug a 8ohm cab into the back...

    Peavey combo 300 with a power amp?

    I put a 15" BW.4ohm, into a Peavey115 cab, and plugged into the external cab jack on the back of my Combo 300, and inside, it brings it to 2ohm( 300w) otherwise its @ 4ohm ( 210w).not sure how or why..but it's Very loud.. looks great

    Peavey Combo 300 questions

    I found 115 cabinets, same outside dimensions, but one has a 5" sound hole in lower front,cand the other has a horn like Angled wood section built across the bottom. The Combo has 2 triangles one on either top side..they weren't BW cabs, but I cut them to fit the BW's and added a BW badge.
