I finally added my signature onto the fretboard of "Eugene". And yes, I named it after my Dad and Grandpa's middle names. :-) Here is a picture with my 5 string fender Jazz.

I have my 60b in my pedal board and don't use it all the time. Recently I ran my bass direct into the DI box and felt like my tone was significantly better. Has anyone else noticed any tone loss when playing through your 60b?

It's alive! I can't believe it's working and 99% done! It's beautiful and sounds incredible.

Just put the 4th coat of oil on last night... The transformation is amazing, its gorgeous! I'll leave you in suspense as I put it all together this weekend. :hyper::bassist::D

After lots and lots sanding, drilling, routing, and still more sanding, I finally put the first coat of Tru-oil on the bass! Love it!

Ahh, thank you! Lol and no, not really much major wood working experience up till now... :-D I guess I figured, "I'm a Mechanical engineering, I can figure this out". I do have to say I have spent about 200+ hours just designing it on autocadd, full mockup with several design changes to fit me...

Well, I'm back at it after finishing the first semester of my MBA. Lol. Here is the progress from the last few weeks.

So I went to Guitar Center this morning for some measurements. This pic is a 70s Jazz, next pic is an ibanez with the same Nordy pickups I have. It's suprising how far toward the bridge they moved both pickups, and think i still like the sound more from the 70's fender... both pictures are...
