I dig 'em all but 3 wasn't too difficult to come 'round to. Being subjective and all that

If I had to pick one? Hrm.. just because it was so out of the box and the finished product looked manufacturer quality/ready to my eyes MPU- Carbon Headless. It's not saw dust and head stocks but it is absolutely craftsmanship and carrying a thought from beginning to end to perfection. Again, subjective but there ya go

I would like to suggest that you start looking for nice pieces of walnut. (neck and body)
The 2018 winter build off will more than likely be based on using walnut as your main wood.

Hmmmm..... I might be in on this one, planning a Walnut Ric style build this winter, though I doubt I'll get it done in 2018.

I dreamed up an All-Walnut Dingwall Super-J, various types of walnut used throughout. Someday a Dingwall, maybe, but I'll continue to participate in these build-offs as strictly a spectator.

Okay so after digging, this is all the walnut I have. 0.75"x4.5"x72" and x36". Plus 6' x 18" of 1mm veneer. Looks like I'm going to have to do some wood shopping if I want things to be seasoned in time...

@Rayz28, great build! For the contest, it didn't qualify for the walnut percentage in the neck, so you'd have to build something with more walnut in the neck anyway...
That said, after seeing your first attempt: PLEASE build another bass and enter the competition!
