Well it’s done.. I pulled the trigger on that Sweetwater bass.. ash/maple galore! Super pumped to have this E5 standard in the arsenal!

    Fodera Club Part XXVII

Sound advice! The E5 custom is 60s spacing with single coil nordstrands .. how often do you use the coil split in your standards??

    Fodera Club Part XXVII

Here's where I need some advice - I have a killer FBass BN5 roasted ash/ebony .. Functionally and as far as tone, the rosewood E5 and F-bass are fairly similar. If I had to keep one it would be the Fodera.. So do I sell the F-Bass, and put it towards that ash/maple standard?! :nailbiting:

    Fodera Club Part XXVII

Thanks for the feedback! This is my custom that I recently acquired, absolutely killer bass (first Fodera). It's an Alder/rosewood spec, and now I've been eying this ash/maple standard on Sweetwater to pair with it (link below) :) .. I'd prefer black hardware, but not a huge deal...

SOLD Modern Vintage MVJ5-75 (Walnut Brown)

Here's an amazing passive 5 string jazz that has a killer 70s slap (Marcus Miller) vibe, without the active pre. I love the gorgeous flame roasted maple neck and dark rosewood fingerboard on this bass. I had the master, Ted Vig, put a set of his 5 sting J pickups in and he changed the pots to...

Back up for sale is my Williams and Sons Ton-Klar German made carved wood bass. I bought this from No Strings Attached in Gloden Valley, MN about 3 years ago. Pickup fully functional and sounds great. There is a noticeable repair in the neck, but it is sturdy and feels fine. This is a great...
