Hey guys, I just saw a video on YouTube and the cover shows 2 fender guitars have the same problem, they both bent slightly forward but they’re just fine. I guess this is quite common problem on fenders.

Yeah the area between headstock and neck does look very thin, could be the reason why, thanks!

That make sense, I believe this one has the 1963 c neck shape according to the description.

Is it my problem or the bass headstock really bent slightly forward? I noticed this recently, I know it doesn’t really matters but this just confused me, I wonder if this is common on all fender basses

Ok I just checked it again, I could see the 3/16 and 7/64 mark on those 2 wrenches, the smallest one has no mark on it and should be the 1/16. According to the service manual this should fit in the bridge saddles but it actually can’t. I guarantee I checked the correct hole which is on the top...

No it doesn’t fit any of those saddles, the bigger hex wrench seems can’t the truss rod either

It seems like there is a layer of something only covers the side of it. It’s more obvious when seeing it under light. I tried to take more pictures of it maybe they’ll help. I hope I didn’t hurt the wood or lacquer.
