I have a dean Playmate. I dont know about switching it to lefty. Mine you wouldnt want to. I have to cutaway version. Best acoustic bass i have ever played. Although i get alot of buzz of the frets from it. Oh well its just to mess around on. Very loud. Very nicely made all around for a sub $200...
