    Figure I should finally post here. Best purchase I ever made, and the bass is solid. Although, you might want to go easy on the tuners, snapped one when I was stretching my strings a little too... Aggressively.

    best pick to use on a bass

    Those are the picks I use, in .73- I've never found a better kind. They're about twice the price of the regular dunlops, but well worth it.
