.6mm here. I like the attack. Plus, that's what i use on guitar as well, so it's convenient. I believe .6mm would be orange tortex.

dunlop big stubbys: i use a 1mm or 2mm sometimes- i think the 2mm is better for bass. they have a nice little groove for your fingers

I rarely use a pick, but when I do, I use those big, giant, heavy-gauge triangular picks by Fender. I'm not likely to drop them, and I find they sound good if I back off the tone knob.

The .88MM version of these. They will change your LIFE. Not kidding. They NEVER break, and they actually sound different. Don't ask me how, it's some space-age thing that we pick players just won't ever understand

Those are the picks I use, in .73- I've never found a better kind. They're about twice the price of the regular dunlops, but well worth it.

Dunlop Jazz picks. Smaller than your typical guitar picks, but also thicker, and much more solid. The three I use are the red ones, the black "stiffo" ones, and the yellow ultex picks. Red offer the smoothest or warmest tone, the blacks are a bit stiffer and offer a grittier more abrasive bright sounding pick-scrape sound, while the ultex falls between the two tonally, but last much longer than the other two. Ultex jazz picks are my all-time favorite picks.

Anyways, I use XH picks on my Guitar, so I just use those whenever I have the desire to play with a pick.
