I keep mine in about the middle setting. To me anything above that is too aggressive

This might be a little advanced but check out the bach cello suites and inventions and print them off online. There obviously beautifully written and they're free online. They have really helped me learn the upper neck.

Hey I just wanted to show off my new handmade Harry Fleishman bass. I just picked it up from the luthiers this morning. The whole thing is flame maple with an ebony fingerboard. It is a 5 string and I tuned it to a high c as opposed to a low b. I found it on craigslist and it had no bridge...
