Yes, I still have the originals on it. I disassembled the one that was giving problems and now it is better. I still want to replace them eventually.

Hey Abner, I've been on the Schaller website, I found the M4 90's to fit the 12m hole , but the " buttons " are butt ugly. The M4 lights look a lot like the factory Ibanez ...but ...they are for a 14m hole. I guess I will see if they will mix and match, if not I will just live with it .

I guess I set myself up for that , so I will have to produce .

I had the house to myself last night so I was able to crank up the volume. I had forgotten what a great tone these basses have . I don't know if its the mahogany/ ash body or the big single coil or a combination of both but the only other bass I have that sounds this good is my spector Euro4...

Thanks a ton Alex, that's what I needed to know. I ordered a set of gotoh tuners but they were for 9/16" hole and too big for the hole so I returned them. I sure wasn't gonna ream the hole out on a vintage neck through bass. Thanks again.

Correction , they look just like Gotoh GB7 tuners , so I may have just answered my on question. Gonna have to measure the hole in the headstock before I place the order.

Does anyone have a part # for replacement tuners . Mine are acting a little funky , in a bad way . I would like some that would be a direct fit . Mine is the 1978 passive 4 string. They look like grovers with a single screw .
