I do actually like the bridge pickup sound more than the neck, and I could honestly do without the neck pickup entirely. This is my first Rick, so I am just trying to learn as much as I can about them. Just did my first truss rod adjustment yesterday.

I think I messed up the wording there. The neck pickup (bass) is quieter than the bridge (treble).

Hello kcole, Is it possible to use a voltmeter and measure the input jack to balance volume between pickups and strings? Some other info above did help by pulling the vintage knob out. The volume balances much better that way.

Hey guys. Thanks for the responses. Here is what I have done so far. Truss rid adjustment to get the neck straight. Adjusted the bridge height down a bit. Adjusted bridge pickup down. Adjusted neck pickup to max height. Adjusted neck pickup poles up till the sound distorted, then back down...
