    Best bass mod ever for you?

    I have replaced all my P-bass bridges with either Badass or Hipshot. And I have put 500kOhm pots in one. Both are awesome mods that really help make my sound more solid! I also have a few basses with custom pickguard overlays. They look cool, but don't affect the sound, at all..

    Guitar Finishes Have No Effect On Sound

    I believe that the finish on a solid body instrument probably doesn't make much, if any, difference in the sound, but that doesn't stop my hands from liking the feel of a nitro-cellulose finish MUCH better than anything else.     Wearing hats while playing; yes or no?

    I've never been insecure enough to need a hat, special glove(s), sweatbands, makeup, band T-shirts (unless it's something akin to wearing a Spandau Ballet shirt to a thrash gig), hanging bandanas, platform shoes, or any other monkey business that really only gets in the way of playing.
