    I would recommend the sansamp bass driver di. It has great tube simulation distortion, but also comes in handy as a direct box. They go for about $120 on eBay.

    There's no way around it, everyone should own a P-Bass. A good ole regular P-Bass. Also, watch eBay, the hybrids cost way more retail and sell for way less resale. Get you a P-Bass and go from there.

    Please consider Ampeg for your stack. You should get a 210 and 115 instead of 2 112's, you can still split them up for practicing, but you'll get a way better spectrum when you combine them live. Now the SVT Classic (everyone should have one) weighs a ton, so I would go with the SVT-450H. It's...
