    Do you know what the weight on the m5 is? I didn't dig too deep, but I saw a few places selling for ,$675-800. I was originally looking at the lower tier sire(m2, I think) but I much prefer this and the trans blue on the m5. Do you know if the m7 is also light weight and worth the extra money?

    Learning how to play like other bass players isn't going to stop you from developing your own style and sound. Don't stop playing just because you have less time, make the time.

    I've never held, seen, or played a Fodera. On the topic of Rickenbacker being polarizing, I've always felt like I'm in the minority in finding the Fender Jazz bass to be the most uncomfortable bass to play.
