    Rhythm Guitarist.....

I feel that our band could really have a fuller sound, and do more musically with a second guitarist. The problem is, I can't find one. I've checked Craigslist and a few similar websites already. For those of you that have a rhthym guitarist, or any band member that you had to search for, how...

    Where do I start!!??

if money is no object, i think mesa boogie makes absolutely phenomenal amps that are great with any kind of sound. built in eq, very universal. i dont own one (pricy), but ive played one before and i cant wait for the day i own one. :) but, im assuming youre not willing to spend [I]too[I] much...

How to not suck as a band?

absolutely. unique is style. so if you want to make a name for yourselves, just be yourselves. go out there and make music that is totally you. when people cant label your band with a genre, you stick into their mind as a unique band. thats not to say you must write death metal songs with 4...

i love it! :D dedication is HUGE, cuz the last thing you want is an indecisive guitarist who chickens out the day before a gig :)

    Combining 2 Different Guitar Sounds

well hats off to yools because 3 of us came into practice ready to go, but unfortunately after just a few practices together, the guitarist who i mentioned that was into ambient stuff big time, was a no show. he's also avoided phone calls, text messages facebook contact, etc. however, its really...

How to not suck as a band?

play some songs together, get to know each other (if you dont already know them) if you dont click together, or if you dont all enjoy the music, then its not gonna work out. make sure all of your bandmates are like your best friends and that you all enjoy playing the music that you play...

    Combining 2 Different Guitar Sounds

well guys, one of the guitar players in the band im in is big time into metal, and wants to write his guitar parts accordingly. on the other hand, our other guitar player is heavy into ambient guitar. i think that these two styles combined, along with my pop-punk basslines and our drummer's hard...

    so i'm indecisive........

I figured the horn on/off switch on the 410 and 115 would get used frequently for that purpose. I was also gonna utilize my MarkBass "SuperBooster" pedal with all of this beastly bass-stuff to help to further improve the quality and balance. :D

    so i'm indecisive........

i'm really feeling the acoustic, at least for my current situation. i'm thinking that im gonna go with an acoustic 410 paired with the acoustic 115, and also go acoustic for the head, with the B200H. i still dont really get how the ohms get paired up. lol. like i know that those 2 cabs work with...

    so i'm indecisive........

So can someone explain how to match cabs with a head to me? Because I know for example the acoustic 410 paired with the 115 are 650 total watts and 8 ohms each. So what kind of head would I use with that?
