I get just as much tone and sustain from a 28" scale bass as I do from my 35" scale Roscoe. Even at the 12th fret on a 35" scale, the remaining string length is only 17.5"... :D

I didn't pick up bass until I was 52. Piece of cake...

I used to stack four 2x10 cabs so I could hear myself. It made a five foot stack. :D

I don't get it. If someone in my band doesn't get a part of a song, I go ahead and fill it in. Sometimes we end up with arrangements with the bass and guitar parts completely reversed, but it still sounds killer. I take control of the songs with my bass... :D

I play through Edens and they are generally flat, accepted as +/- 3dB over the frequency range. Well, Edens tend to have a slight 1 or 2 dB boost in the 100 to 200 Hz range which makes them sound warmer than other amps (and probably a slight dip elsewhere). Other amps will have a different...
