    I was thinking about doing the same thing. I have a Sterling Ray4HH with a Uni-Pre installed. Did you have a specific process for finding your sound, did you just dial each trim pot up the same amount, adjust individually, etc.?

    Thanks again for the suggestions. I opened up the back and it is not screened and doesn't appear to be grounded with copper foil. The cavity has a metal bottom, but bare wood on the sides. I took some photos below. I went to remove the pickup wires to try your suggestion, but it appears there...
