For a basement/practice amp, I use a Pod x/t (w/bass pack) and a pair of Alesis Sumo 100 (150 watt, 1x12) keyboard amps. With the Eden WT model running - it sounds (to my ear) very nice. And it fairly loud (enough for my use). It even tolerates the B-string on my 5-string fretless well.
