    I've noticed the switch noise as well, while recording anyways. It's noticeable, but not offensive. I just did a YouTube demo of it. Not sure if this is helpful to anyone, but here it is, warts and all!

    It's the boost/comp button, on the far right. You've probably figured that out by now though lol! Tuner is accurate enough, too. Here's a YouTube demo I just did for the Dapper. Switch clicks and all!

    Hey there Lync, I've been having the same problem with mine, which is about 4-5 years old. Have you found cleaning the ribbon connectors to fix the problem? Even if only temporarily? And how would one go about doing this themselves?

    +1 for the Carvin BX500. It'll do 500 watts at 2 ohms. And it's 5.5 pounds!

    I've had mine for almost a year and I love it. Great frets, great everything. I gig it stock except for the addition of straplocks. Lightweight too! No one believes it's not a Fender, even other bassists!

    +1 on the Freeman P. It's also my favorite in my stable. Gig ready right out of the box. The CV P basses are all pretty amazing too.

    My Fender mexican deluxe jazz sounds great with a pick through my VT bass. The Hofner Icon beatle bass is excellent with a pick as well.
