Yes it is. The bass has Ebony truss rod cover for totally black top. But walnut body and wenge neck colors are dark, so the bass looks like the Black bass. Eiji

My Gold series Classic Ebony top (photo on #445) has only 5 knobs. Passive - Active SW is push-pull on Neck PU Vol. The circuit is Aguilar OBP-1 (only boost on treble and bass). All control knobs are Neck PU Vol. Bridge PU Vol. Treble boost, Bass boost, passive tone. (neck side to end). Eiji

My Hybrid semihollow is fitted THG knobs. These knobs are made Koa body and Cocoboro top. The Cocoboro top has straight grain just like the fingerboard. Invalid Link Removed Eiji
