I'm going to make a knock off fender

I'm going to make a knock off fender

I just bought a new bass off rondomusic.com and I had the idea of cloning it just cause I'm cheap. Now that I've had hands on it over the past week and had a chance to play it next to the real thing (did a side by side when i took it to guutar center for set up) I've totally steered away from...

I'm going to make a knock off fender

I more like the idea that if any one steals it thinking they'll get some money off of selling it will be greatly disappointed. That and I can't afford what I want, but I can afford something that looks like what I want

I'm going to make a knock off fender

That's right, I'm going to make a knock off fender and there's nothing you can do to stop me. Just purchased a bass with a blank headstock and then i bought a fender decal and neck plate.

    Adversities in learning bass

Queen is a big bite to chew and swallow as a beginning bass player. At least in my current opinion. But any thing worth doing is working hard at, and as my grandfather would say "if you're not making mistakes, then you're not really working"

    Adversities in learning bass

As far as what I'm looking to get out of playing bass, I want to be involved in the music I listen to. I grew up cutting my teeth on queen, to this day I have Queen's greatest hits on cassette in my car. I never got to see them play in concert, so playing along connects me to the music a bit...

    Adversities in learning bass

What do you do for a living if I may ask? And that sounds rough. Hearing that makes me grateful that I have time to play at home sitting on my couch.

    Adversities in learning bass

Hi. I'm new to bass and the forums and I'd like to share a struggle of mine. Being new to playing bass I often make mistakes and my audience (not to be named) often snickers at my mistakes. I shake it off and play harder. I'm interested to know if any of you have personal stories you would...

    My f'ing kid

Well I've tried playing before, always ended up not getting to far because I always have some one around me when I play. So I pulled the family together and told them that I'm going to pick the bass back up and thats going to be my time and my thing. And most who have families will understand...

    My f'ing kid

I adopted this kid in her teen years and honestly don't have the time to waste listing all the great and wonderful things I've done to enrich her life and opportunities she's been given just to defend my self to any one, on line or otherwise. She's a brat at times. Strike that. A shaging brat...
