For any sub-short scalers out there struggling to find strings, I have a like new set of D'Addario half rounds that I can send you. The only caveat is that they're cut for a Samick mini Corsair bass so they are cut short. They will probably fit up to a Mikro. To give you an idea the E string...

Great to hear someone has it already! I'm on the fence. In some of the reviews there are some concerns about lag/latency if you connect via an HDMI interface. Have you noticed any lag issues? I read that bass DLC may be available in the future :-)

After picking up a bass and practicing as much as time allows over that last 7 months I treated myself to one of the last available new Highway Ones.

My bad. It is the same s/n with my build in Jan 2011. The 'S' in 'ICS' threw me off. Are the Jags from the Cort factory in Indonesia? What does the 'S' designate?

I guess we'll have to wait and see if the other new Jag owners have the D'A strings. I was thinking that I might have a newer production iteration since my serial# looks different.

The plastic was over the pick guard and the bass looked factory fresh so I doubt it was B stock. I thought there was a thread about VMs coming from the factory with D'A look-alike strings?

I'm curious to know if anyone elses new Jag come with the supposedly D'A strings??? The bass plays flawlessly which is more than I can say about my playing!
