I'd like to ask about Ibanez sr505. Is it possible to put an Yamaha rbx375 neck pick-up? I know it should be done some work on the body to fit it but how should it be wired and is the string spacing the same on both basses?

I bought the sr505 about two years ago. Feels and sounds great but the pick ups are kinda too mellow i think. There's not enough punch. A friend of mine's got Ibanez BTB575 and is much better than the trb1005 and the sr505 together. It's got better pre-amp, pick ups, bridge and it's neck-through...
