About pick-ups

I'd like to ask about Ibanez sr505. Is it possible to put an Yamaha rbx375 neck pick-up? I know it should be done some work on the body to fit it but how should it be wired and is the string spacing the same on both basses?

Have you measured the pickups? I know that some of the Yamaha pickups are the same size as the Bart MK1-5s in your sr505.

I don't kow enough about the yamaha pickups to offer any tips as far as wiring.
