    I dont like tab because it forces you to use someone else's fingerings. I prefer to play a line in whatever way feels comfortable to me.

    To produce a good note on the bass guitar isnt that hard. Being a a "bassist" is not easy. Also tell the guitar player to try playing upright and ask if bass is hard

    For sure all of the guys mentioned already, but i wanted to add bootsy, i dont think anyone mentioned him and he is pretty cool. Also the baaaaaadest bass player, Willie Weeks ya'all
