Hey all. I was wondering If anyone uses a CS-3 compression/sustainer for their bass. I am new at using compression for the bass and would like to get an idea as to what I should set the pedal at for getting a good sound without losing tone. I play Blues/Rock.

Yes it has full range, and I use it when running my peavey mark 6 head (because it's the one I currently have) but I need more power than the mark 6 has. I've been using it for about 10 years and it's been great overall but I am just not satisfied since I have played through my friends GK 1001...

Yea it's an 18 and two 10's but it has jacks for running the 10's or 18 by themselves. I believe that the 18 inch by itself is rated at 8 ohms. I've looked at a replacement 18" black widow and it is rated at 8 ohms, but I'm not for sure If it would be the same type as what I have in the 1820...
