Totally. I cut my teeth on early Led Zep, so flats on a Jazz was sort of the default bass tone in my head before I even started playing. I find the chunky midrange punch on a good vintage-style flatwound (LaBella, DR, GHS) complements the scooped character of a Jazz quite nicely... it's still a...
