Almost had a heart attack when I first saw that cover... just a little on edge after losing Dusty Hill and Charlie Watts so recently.
JPJ changed my life for Sure! Huge influence of mine. Although to be honest the entire band was phenomenal. Glad to see so many other bass players paying homage to a great here on TB.
This is freaking amazing stuff. JPJ was always one of my bass gods but with the guitar muted he really shines.
That would be a cooler photo if there wasn't a reflection of some dude at the urinal in front of him showing in the mirror. I'm guessing it was a rough venue and he took his bass to the head with him so it wouldn't get stolen lol.
Many photos show silks passing over the saddles.

Very creative bassist and an absolutely brilliant arranger and tasty keyboard player. He was LZ's secret weapon.
Definitely liked his 2 solo discs, Zooms and The Thunder Thief.

It may have been their "dressing room". I saw the Yardbirds play in a high school cafeteria once. They likely got a janitor's closet before the set.
