Sorry horn set between 7 & 8**

So just attempted to try out the horn. Cranked the horn up, treble cranked and bright is on. Sound is coming out, a little crackle here and there but sound is coming out for sure. On another note, I lowered the horn a ton and started at 0. I can really hear that sound is in there. Still sounds...

Any good references to knob adjustments would be greatly appreciated. I will ofcourse take a swing around the Internet myself but people on talkbass usually can pinpoint great references quickly

Haha good than I know where to pass all my blame! . But Ya I might have to test out this tweeter and do some adjustments...sounds like a good Saturday to me! I'm honestly relieved that many others are avoiding the graphic eq, I thought that was a major point but I am much for confident...

This is amazing thanks...so I have the tweeter cranked honestly, even though I was trying to leave it off. So would putting it straight up put me at half or should I be at around the 7-8 area? Also, with the gain how much should I really turn back? I was trying to follow the Ampeg tutorials...

Hahahahahahaha jesus sorry for that one...I guess that was a mixup of terms. I heard it as tweeter, level control, never as horn control. I'll save that to my memory . And any suggestions on a good level? I've heard to leave it off so it has no influence on the sound...or just keep subtle...

I have the -15db on because I was experiencing some distortion from the cab so that's why that was on. When setting everything flat and restarting, should I turn on the eq and play with that at all or just leave it off?

Here are the pics. On the amp, the only buttons pushed in are the -15gb, Ultra Lo, Bright. Which should mean I am not even using the Graphic Eq....I just was not getting a good sound from it even after playing around with it a lot.

Also I don't think there is a horn control anywhere on the rig.

Yup I'm a pick player through and through. And I'm not sure about the horn. Is there a way to test out the horn? I know the cab has a tweeter but I'll have to get back to you on where that is set to once I get home.
