    Kalium strings

What do you mean by finding the .130 too chorus-y ? Yes i play a lot with the C# strings up high to the 12th fret I'm afraid i'll have to cut the nut a bit to let that fat string go through. Thank you to both, youy're right I should try to create my set and buy one by one. Less expenssive of...

    Kalium strings

Hi all, I'm actually using a Daddario balanced tension set .120 .90 .67 .50 with a Pbass tuned as C#G#C#F#. The .120 is still floppy for me, for fast riffs but the other strings are fine. So I was looking at others sets and I tried the DR Strings DDT .50/.110 but its the same thing, floppy C#...

What kind of strings do you use?

Thanks Michael, I think i'll try that 50/120 set more to see if it works well, but so far the sound is THICK, I like it, maybe i'll downgrade my pick to have less fatigue and better control, I was using a green 0,88 Dunlop but maybe i'll go yellow 0,73 one.

What kind of strings do you use?

Actually it says 50 to 49 lbs (high to low) for EADG tunning. I bought it and i'm ok with the strings except that the 120 is maybe to thick for my C#, I think 115 would be the best but I can't find a good balanced set with a 115 string. Maybe I just need to get used to this fat 120 string, i'm...

What kind of strings do you use?

Hi everybody, I found on an old topic of TB a guy saying this: "The .124 at C# is about the same tension-wise as a .105 E-string. If you prefer a .100 E-string, you'd be happy with the .118 set. If you prefer a .105 E-string, you'd be happy with the .124 set. If you prefer a .110 E-string...

Official Darkglass Club: Welcome to the Darkside

Maybe my previous message was too long or bad explained, let me just make it shorter: Since I have the B7K and the AO, i noticed that I enjoy more the AO for his tube-like tone on alpha side and don't use the B7Ku distortion that much. So I have decided to sell it and change my rig for three...

Official Darkglass Club: Welcome to the Darkside

Hi everybody. I'm MOLYBARON bass player and Darkglass user since 2012, I've started with the B3k that I changed for the B7KU v1 and then the AO came in my rig, so actually my rig is like this: Bass > Super Symmetry > AO > B7KU v1 I dont like to have thousands of settings and eqs everywhere, I...

Ampeg PF 500 with PF 210 HE

Hello, sorry to exhume this old topic, but i have an issue that i want to share. I have used a Fender Rumble 2x10" 100w for ten years and I have decided to change my stuff to a bigger, louder setup. I bought the Ampeg PF500 and the pf210he cab. Looks nice, but i tried it during rehearsal and...

Official Darkglass Club Pt. IV- The Revolution!!

First i would say CONSUMER SOCIETY, but for real, I don't like to have EQ everywhere. I prefer to have the strict minimum but efficient. And its smaller, if i need something else on my actually full pedalboard.

Official Darkglass Club Pt. IV- The Revolution!!

Yeah i could eq before and after, but i'm actually GASing the Omicron so it chang everything... But the main problem is that i still want the soundguy during gigs to take my sound from the B7KU to the PA so that he could have all my sound, with compression. So i have to keep the B7KU last in any...

Official Darkglass Club Pt. IV- The Revolution!!

I was wondering something about the chain signal. My actual chain is Bass => Tuner => Super Symmetry => AO => B7K Ultra => Amp Is that a good chain signal ? I mean, is it better to compress before and EQ after or reverse ?

    Darkglass - Alpha Omega

From the US it would be too long and expensive, Bass Direct is more expensive :/ I wait one more week to see if my two local stores who have all the Darkglass pedals (except the AO) will have it.
