    Anyone NOT like the SVT?

    Had one in the early '80's and didn't dislike it, but had issues with the inflexibility of tone. Been using Carvins since 1986 and wouldn't use anything else as my main gig amp.

    Saw them in 1985, and as amazing as they were then (and they were), the "Flight 666" DVD is incredible.

    Used and have loved Carvins since 1986. Great, deep tone and tremendous balls. They have it all are are reasonably priced.

    Very impressed by the AMpeg BA115.

    Played through it as a house amp a couple of weeks ago and loved it. Playing the same room next week and plan on paying much closer attention to its overall tone.

    After combing this thread (and checking a few other things out), I dropped a pair of Model J's into my '76 fretless and WOW!!!, it's like a whole new bass. Thanks for everyone's input.
