    Great call on the phantom power. A tech at Aguilar was mentioning the same thing. Also that when you engage the GND/LIFT it disconnects the 48v through the XLR. So, I've got a few more things to check when I'm back in the studio.

    Thanks for the guidance. Great points on the two different ground loops and use of the GND/LIFT. Now realizing that I checked the GND/LIFT on my Tone Hammer, but not on the amp. I'll give that a shot. Cheers, Rick

    I'm running a Aguilar Tone Hammer out to my amp and the DI to the board for recording. Without the DI plugged in, the sound through the cab is fine. But when I plug in the DI to the board, I get a serious hum coming out of the cab. I think we've eliminated all possible causes and it seems to be...
