Tone Hammer DI hum

I'm running a Aguilar Tone Hammer out to my amp and the DI to the board for recording. Without the DI plugged in, the sound through the cab is fine. But when I plug in the DI to the board, I get a serious hum coming out of the cab. I think we've eliminated all possible causes and it seems to be the DI out.

I'm really digging the tone I'm getting from the Tone Hammer DI, but the massive hum from the cab is super annoying and bleeding into the live recordings we're doing in the studio.

Any thoughts on what might be causing this and possible solutions?

Also make sure you are not sending phantom power to the DI, that caused a hum on one of my DIs, not sure that would happen in this case or not.

Great call on the phantom power. A tech at Aguilar was mentioning the same thing. Also that when you engage the GND/LIFT it disconnects the 48v through the XLR. So, I've got a few more things to check when I'm back in the studio.
