I’m going to have an expensive year, what with my AB2 coming soon, and having put down a deposit of my own, last week, for a Umansky 6. Then there’s the fact that the orange NGs are coming back for a limited time, and they’re adding a bright green D-Roc standard.

I like my NG3 necks very much. My Z3 neck is just superb, though. I don’t think, at least for me, that there are any necks from Dingwall that aren’t great and very playable.

I’m going to be super interested in direct comparing my Z3 6 to the Umansky 6, just as soon as I get my hands on it.

Yeah, September is more than far enough out for me to go ahead and put a deposit in for one of the six-strings, when it comes up.

It depends, on a fair few factors. Broadly speaking, if a signature edition offers a bass that I would otherwise want to buy, without a price bump just for the name, then sure. Thus far, I just have Dingwall NG3s, as signature basses go, and I chose those Nolly Getgood signatures over the...
