Completely agreed that they aren't always the answer but in this case I'm looking for a stylistic addition. I guess I wasn't completely clear, but I'm looking for something to stack with the Wounded Paw and that thread doesn't really apply to me here. Thanks for pointing it out though!

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. Learning the drum parts has been the biggest help by far. I'm finding it easier to settle into a similar groove by doing this.
