    this sounds stupid but is it ok to play punk live while sitting down not standing up?

    Adjust your strap so the bass is in same position standing as sitting (billy sheehan style) thus there is no change to you're playing position other than you have to stand. If this is still a problem... man up. also its punk, do what you want.

    Bassists look too bored...

    My guitarist and drummer are incrredibly boring onstage lol last week after the show photographer complained to me about moving around too much. I cant stand still and play...its an illness.
