Thank you Joe! The bass is all you said it was and more. I sold my original MC 824, like an idiot, back in 2005, which is now long gone, despite my efforts to find it....Thankfully found this one. A couple serial numbers newer and in excellent shape. Really appreciate the communication as well...

Thanks to Steve and everyone for the Rumble Mod Thread. As a followup, I lined and reinforced both my Rumble 500 combo and extension cab. The results tightened up the sound and removed most of the boom. Just for experimentation purposes, I temporarily hooked up both cab connections to a raw...

I know I am late to this party, but this thread is flat phenomenal...I purchased a Rumble 500 with matching cab based on all the features (weight, power, 10s etc). And I really want to like it but like others the boom/mud was annoying when used in a big room or if not lifted off the ground...
