He is! We aren't in AZ, though; we're in central TX. He actually had a run-in with a table saw about a week before the show while working on the ring box. You can see his left thumb and forefinger are heavily bandaged.

Got some recent gig pics to show off my Legend Custom 4! Played a show with a buddy as a pretense for his engagement, which was about as cool of a gig as I've had a chance to play. Apologies for the potato quality. I pulled them off Facebook, so they aren't great:

That thing is gorgeous! I bought a T-20 a couple of months ago and one thing I've noticed is that Peavey found some really beautiful wood for basses of this era. I pray for your shoulder though! The seller I bought from also had a T-45 and I was scared away by the weight.

I always wanted a Highway One. One of my favorite Fender lines. Nice bass OP! As for covers, if you want to get really vintage about it, you could add the bridge cover and put some foam in there. After you put flats on, of course. ;)

Wow! If you don't mind me asking, what all have you done on this project? Don't the Performers have slab bodies? How does that feel compared to the carved NS body?

Nice get! Especially for the equivalent of $50! Looks a lot like my T-20, and if it sounds anything like it, you got something more than a steal.

@evermelon is right, this is an NS-5CR (precursor to the Euro5LX). The dot inlays are legit, just older. As to price, that's a good value for one, but some of these older Czech ones go for less occasionally.

It will. I replaced the faux tort on mine with an Allparts tort guard and it was a drop-in.
