This is the next bass I want to get, I been playing them in music stores and I'm ready to pick one up. I love the sound, I love the feel, and the way they look.

Here's what you do: Get yourself a Precision Bass and put some Quarter Pounders in that sucker and some EB Flatwound and play it through a bass Muff and a Peavey. That should be metal enough for anybody.

I've always used My pinky, it just works better for Me and it was taught to Me early in My learning playing the bass so now it just seems natural, I've tried dropping it once or twice but I just don't get the reach I like.

My play style is pointer, ring and pinky...yeah I know that sounds messed up right ? I learned on an upright bass and thats how We were taught how to play it, but I tell you what it really strengthened My pinky playing that way.
