Thanks but the sound issue is with the instrument/player, not the sound guy. I'm not getting the tone I want in my In Ear mix either and I control that.

Stage sound is through a GK MB500 and Eden 210. The low mid control there takes care of the growl. It's the FOH mix that I seem to get lost in.
