They should have been more understanding, but in all fairness, they've had a decent amount of theft (at least I can speak for the old downtown Montreal location). In the mid 2000s, someone apparently walked out with an Apple G4 right out the front door. A huge desktop tower like that....

If that chronology is correct, then I thank you for taking the initiative for reaching out to the distributor. I just wish there would have been better coordination and support from the get-go.

I was ultimately refunded by the store (only after the store had to wrestle with the distributor). However, it was pretty bad customer service all around. The ball was dropped too many times and a fair amount of lack of acountability. No retail purchase or any service issue should ever have...

It's a lack of critical thinking skills, what can we say? Believe me, I could have came out guns blazing and have been a lot harsher, but I tried to be as civil and objective as possible.
