I know one of the engineers for Westone. Something that hasn't been mentioned yet but was brought to my attention. Occlusion effect. If you sing and don't get a set of buds that have long ends on them so that the sound comes out close to the ear drum the occlusion effect will drive you...

The VT Bass sounds real good.Need to get it out on stage though. My preference of the 2 is still Ampeg SVX.Of course a real SVT would be best. Maybe.Never can tell

I don't have a smart phone so that option is out. It's either the laptop or VT Bass. No where near me to try one. I was hoping some one had used both and could at least steer me in a direction. If someone said "VT bass is far better" then I'd find a way to try one. Thanks for the reply

I'm very happy with the sound of my live rig using SVX but carrying around a laptop is a PIA. I was wondering if the VT bass would at least be as good.I use that warm vintage SVT sound. P Bass with flats. Thanks

Take the thing apart and see if you can fix it. Awire that is broken should be easy enough to fix.
