    Short Scale Warwick Corvette Conversion/Build

Would you by chance have any way of sharing the dimensions he measured up of your neck? I would be more than happy to pay a fee for a CAD copy of that for a CNC to model mine off as I am not a luthier but I could probably ask really really nicely to come into my work (a guitar shop) to use their...

Things you DON'T care about, when it comes to your basses

Weight doesn't really bother me, I care more about scale length. my short scale 4 string s heavy as hell because of wood/hardware combo's and I don't mind too much. It does surprise people though haha

Have you regretted selling a bass in the past.

I regret selling my LTD B2005... it was nice, 35" scale, ebony fretboard, cool inlay and sounded awesome. And I sold it for significantly less than what I paid. I will buy an ESP or LTD bass again one day but I really did love that bass. Maybe an F series next..

The Official Warwick Club (Part 6)

Yeah, but I think that's why I like it. My corvette is passive and I like how it sounds, the only reason I plan to change the stock MEC's is because the bass has been through hell and every now and then the electronics shag out on me so I don't take it out of the house anymore. I use my...

    Sparkle/Glitter/Rainbow/Holographic finish basses

So I've had a small obsession with the Carvin "Harlequin Prismatique" finish for quite some time, but they don't make it anymore and finding a bass with it is rare. Warwick just made this as well Invalid Link Removed Is there any other brand that will make a ridiculous, rainbow or glittery...

Short Scale Set w/Higher Tension E

These are long scale but maybe depending in your bass they could still work. I know my warwick shortscales take any tapered end strings easily.

Dude, you're playing with Soften the Glare! That's rad. I am jealous.

    Trying to like metal

Not necessarily metal all the time, some have prog/funk/rock/misc sounds but check some of these out.. often good gateway drugs to other genres:P Faith No More, Mr Bungle, Incubus, Clutch, Rage Against the Machine, The Mars Volta, Queens of the Stone Age, Puscifer, A Perfect Circle, Port...

Do you think our first bass has an impact on what we like later on?

My first bass was technically an Ibanez Mikro, but those are such beginner basses its not really considered as my first real bass by me. My first was a chinese rockbass. Now I exclusively play Warwicks and love them.

Can YOU leave an empty space on your board?

I will go as far as to use pedalboard planner to make sure the spaces between pedals are few and all the exact same distance apart.

The Official Warwick Club (Part 6)

I have a Chinese passive corvette rockbass. I originally wanted to put in diMarzio model J's. Tried them out on an ibanez (i think) that came with them stock in a store and really liked the sound of them [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]. I'll probably still do it, one day.

The Official Short Scale Bass Club -- Part 4

Let me know how it goes. I did look into getting a warmoth some time ago but for an Aussie the price wasn't really that great, but I'm keen on that style.

The Official Warwick Club (Part 6)

New Warwick day was last weekend - Finally posting some pics :) I've wanted a green streamer jazzman for a while now, this was a very lucky find in my hometown (for those who don't know, they stopped making green as a standard color option and is only available if you get a brand new German...

    Short Scale Warwick Corvette Conversion/Build

Had to put the project on hold as touring and studio took over. Hopefully I will still get around to finishing it.
