Haven't measured it but I should do that I'm taking it to a pro next week to see what could be done. And mine is set up like the top bass I think I see I'm pretty sure it is a refinish, the blue burst isn't even all the way around.

Yeah I'm working on it now, if all is wrong in the ground and some dirty pots I would like to keep it as original as possible.

Hahahaha I would but this is my first bass and I sorta wanna hold on to her! But I will have to take her into a pro and get the ground 're wired I just took off the bridge and the ground was broken off. Thanks for the advice

She's sounds a bit better now, still quiet but there is a little bit less static.

Lots of static in general, and when ever I make contact with the bridge it becomes even louder (static wise) also if I touch the cover for the pots some of the static goes away. Could it just be shorted somewhere?
