I would say not to worry about originality considering this is already possibly a parts bass, but then I found another supposedly Ibanez that looks very similar, have you measured the scale on yours?

Also found this non Ibanez that looks similar as well, it's branded Columbus, could be from the same factory I suppose.

Haven't measured it but I should do that I'm taking it to a pro next week to see what could be done. And mine is set up like the top bass I think I see

you have yourself a unique, vintage Ibanez. cool slab body but I wonder if its a re-finish?

I'm pretty sure it is a refinish, the blue burst isn't even all the way around.

cool bass! love the Marantz stereo volume and tone knobs. after a good set-up, you'll have a unique sounding bass i bet.
