    Duratex over truck bed liner?

Sure, you can cover this cab with Duratex. Plan on applying an extra coat - white is a hard color to cover.

    A Really dumb question...

My concert rig is a SVT on top of 2 vertically stacked Eden D210XLT cabs. :bassist: But I don't do concerts. Do mostly pick-up gigs at the local pub. Besides, I can't even lift the SVT anymore, and I struggle with those 210s. The Rumble 500 and the GK MB2 might do the trick if they sound...

    A Really dumb question...

Been playing many years with the same old rig: a really old 400RB + a not-so-old Ampeg SVT15-E cab. Both have served me well over the years, but I've come to the realization that the sound could be a lot better. I am old, too. I don't want to fuss with a bass brain and a cab. I was forced to...

    Acoustic B20 with blown fuse...

I was given an Acoustic B20 years ago. I used it 4 or 5 times, and it eventually blew the fuse. I replaced the fuse, and it blew again. Same problem exactly. It must be a design flaw.

    Neutrik vs. 1/4" cabinet jacks

I wonder if there's any difference in sound between the neutrik and the 1/4" phone plug inputs. My guess is there is none. I challenge anyone to show evidence of a difference.

Anyone have experience with piccolo basses?

That would be a standard guitar with a B and high E string.

Here's a good explanation of how and why gold (and to a lesser extent, silver) prices have been manipulated/suppressed since 2008: _____________________________________________________________________________ By Egon von Greyerz Western Central Banks hold less than 50% of official quantities...

Investor I.Q. Test You have $10,000 to invest today and expect to need it in ten years. Do you: 1) Purchase a 10 year US Treasury bond yielding less than 2%; 2) Put $10,000 in cash in a safe deposit box in a bank; 3) Put $10,000 into an ETF even though stocks are substantially overvalued and...

Accepting SILVER In Lieu Of Fiat Money Payment

On Monday, the JOBS/MANUFACTURING Report came out. Wildly optomistic numbers. Dollar looks strong. The Fed is (yes again!) hinting to raise rates in December (LOL!). Come December, when Fed again announces that "it is not prudent at this time to raise rates." PMs will bounce back to...

Accepting SILVER In Lieu Of Fiat Money Payment

Yep. The gold and silver bugs are distraught with the Monday dip. Poor suckers. To me, its simply another "golden" opportunity to add to the stack.

Accepting SILVER In Lieu Of Fiat Money Payment

I accept. When a glass of beer is $35, silver will probably be $208/oz. So I'll be able to buy three $35 beers for half an ounce of silver. Same as if I had bought them today - three beers @ $3/glass = $9, or half an ounce of silver! :D

Accepting SILVER In Lieu Of Fiat Money Payment

Agree 100%. Here are a few warning signs that an economic collapse *might* be imminent: • Dropping oil prices. • Major retailers closing their doors. • Household "discretionary" income falling. • Runaway inflation. • Extremely volatile Bond Market. • Negative Interest Rates. • Central...
