Intonation screws for Leo Quan Badass II

If you have one of these electrical tools it includes cutters for 6-32 screws. Just screw it in to the length you want to trim and SQUEEZE. Might need to clean up the tip afterwards but they work well especially for these smaller size ones.

200w or 500w amplifier combo for local gigs?

Ampeg RB500 has a built in hiss. I have to disable the tweeter and cut the treble for it to be tolerable. I tried several in stores and they all have this problem. The smaller ones don't. Or consider the Rumble 500.

    Squier Tele mod to P-Bass

Add to that that the humbucker is a 4-wire pickup (with two leads joined from the factory). So I could also add a single coil mode or two!

    Squier Tele mod to P-Bass

I installed a toggle switch to select pickups. I don't have an ON-ON-ON switch so I was not able to implement parallel pickups. Maybe later. I also changed the wiring to match the standard P-bass wiring instead of the slightly different approach of the Tele.

What do you say when service/fast food workers call you BOSS?

You say "Thank you, Mike."? How odd.

    Vulfpeck doesn't rehearse

Well since you asked, here's what I think! (Actually we only rehearse once-a week...)

    P Bass Fretboard Discoloration

I'm interested to see how it looks after it is cleaned! I wouldn't be able to stand it - that fretboard is crying out to be cleaned up. I would use F-One fretboard cleaner/oil with paper towels.

Weird issue with hearing Radio Stations through amp

The one time I ran into this it was the result of using a TRS cable instead of standard instrument cable. Switched to the right cable and the signal pick-up disappeared. That was an Acoustic B100 combo amp.

Fender Neck on a Squier Body

My main bass now is the opposite - Fender body with Squier 40th Anniversary Vintage neck.

Fender Neck on a Squier Body

If you have the Vintage series with the maple neck, you may feel a difference with the glossier MIM neck finish. In that case check out the Fender roasted maple replacement necks. They have a really nice satin finish.

Fender Neck on a Squier Body

I love the Vintage series necks. Never tried the ones with blocks. But I don't think you'll likely notice any difference besides the logo, assuming your Squier neck is in good condition.

How much heat can a bass safely endure?

Those are like 3 orders of magnitude different but ok.

Rent a car with AC, geez.

    Neck heal/pocket issue

I've had to do this a few times. If I can I shape the pocket to fit to avoid messing with the finish on the neck.

40th Anniversary Jazz (Squier) vs Fender MIM

I owned a couple of the anniversary basses and really liked them. The vintage ones had great necks, both the P and J. The main weakness they might have is the not-so-premium naytoh (? Spelling) body wood.
