No Signal from Fender Rumble Line Out

Problem solved: user error on my part. I used an XLR to XLR cable into the mic-level input on the mixer instead of the XLR to TRS cable into the line-level input. Also had to turn up the master more than I had it while testing. Thanks for the responses everyone!

No Signal from Fender Rumble Line Out

Thanks for both the replies! I did have the gain up, but I'll have to play more with the master. I was keeping the master knob low or off so I could hear if the sound was coming through the PA speaker. On the previous amp, the line out is pre master volume knob

No Signal from Fender Rumble Line Out

I purchased a new Fender Rumble 500 combo recently, and when I went to use the line out today the PA was not getting any signal from the amp. I'd like to make sure this is not user error before contacting my local Authorized Fender Service Center. On my prior amp (Fender Bassman 250), I used a...

    Fender Rumble Club

I just got my Rumble 500 combo last night and didn't want to stop playing it! :bassist: Thanks to all the posters above for the information and motivation to pull the trigger. I've been GASsing for this amp for over a year now but was waiting for my old amp to die (which it finally did). I went...

Am I destroying my amplifier? please help!

I second the solder joint issue, this happened to my Fender combo on the speaker out jack. The amp would go silent after about an hour of playing. Of course, be careful, don't void your warranty, or have a tech look at it if soldering and reading voltages with a multimeter aren't your thing...

    Flat wounds

I didn't like my Rotosound 77s either, and I gave up on flats because of this. This thread is making me want to try some other brands!

    Combo amps with good tone

I bought a used Fender Bassman 250 combo amp about a year ago for $350 off craigslist. Mine is a 210, but there is also a 115. The speakers are 4 ohms, so you don't need an extension cabinet to get its full power, and its been plenty loud for all of our band's rehearsals. Also has a DI so you...

    Anyone built a pedal?

That's funny, mine picks up radio with the gain all the way down.

    Anyone built a pedal?

This is the only pic I took during the process. I used an electrical box from Lowes for the enclosure.

    Anyone built a pedal?

Just finished building my first pedal this past weekend. I built the Bazz Fuss from scratch. Hardest part was getting all of the parts and components to fit in the pedal box (then of course it doesn't work and you have to open it back up). I drilled all the holes by hand and it wasn't too...
