yeah you're right! I meant 9/16'' for the headstock bore. I thought 3/8'' was referring to the pole diameter?

What do you mean by unable to handle 45-105 strings? Did the truss rod adjustment max out when you try to straighten the neck with higher gauge strings?

The way this tuner was installed, it would require drilling another hole beside the original one, then tilting it right? That would probably expose the original drilling hole, which is still a bit annoying but I guess slightly better... Alright, I'll send the email and see what can be done.
